If you had some $$ to spend on a book...what would you buy?
I don't buy books. I hate spending money on them, and then not liking the book. I'm all about the free library.
BUT, I received a birthday gift of a gift card for Chapters (hug hug kiss kiss...oh what a great family you is)
So...what are your book recommendations??

Well that depends.
ReplyDeleteDo you want a book with substance or just fluff?
I would reccomend "A Tree grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith for a book that has staying power. I still think about this book and I read it years ago.
I have "Uncle Sam's Cabin" sitting on my nightstand ready for me to read. I have heard really good things about it.
For fluff, I read everthing. You know my taste in crappy novels. I don't think I would spend my birthday money on them though.
ILOVE Patricia Cornwall. I am big into the crime dramas and you don't get much better than her. I love Kay Scarpetta character series
