The Last Concubine by Lesley DownerI picked this book up as the cover struck me when I was at the library last. I have to say, its like nothing I've ever read before. A historically accurate story of ancient Japan from the perspective of a fictional girl named Sachi. The story was compelling, the characters believable, and I enjoyed it.
